In 2025, we traveled to Sicily for this wedding.
Ferdaus, Tolga and I arrived as a team – ready for sun, sea, long days and that ice cream. Sicily has a way of doing ice cream differently, and somehow it felt like the perfect beginning to everything that followed.
What truly stayed with us, though, was the family.
One of the most warm-hearted Italian-German families I’ve ever met. Emotions were open and honest. The men cried without hesitation. For the bride’s father, this day was deeply moving – raw, heavy, and full of love.
The celebration took place in an incredible villa with a pool, amazing food, and a feeling that time had slowed down for just a moment.
And then the night took over.
Guys… this was another level of party.
We really enjoyed it — but we definitely weren’t ready.
