In 2019, I found myself in Marbella, invited to photograph a wedding that unfolded over several unforgettable days at the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace. From the very first moment, it felt clear: this wasn’t just a wedding — it was an experience.
A private golf tournament, a white party by the sea, long conversations under the Spanish sun. Everything was carefully curated, yet nothing felt forced. When the wedding day arrived, it was breathtaking. The decoration, the atmosphere, the energy in the air. A magician moving quietly through the guests, a gospel choir filling the space with emotion, a program that kept surprising and unfolding — moment by moment.
What stayed with me most, though, was how perfectly this couple matched the place. Elegant, warm, present. Together, they turned an already grand location into something deeply personal.
We created even more beyond the celebration. I organized an additional shooting session in the city — a fashion-inspired setup, bold and cinematic, the kind of imagery you would expect in a Vogue editorial. Watching them step into that world so naturally was a joy.
Somewhere in between, I even tried my hand at golf. That day confirmed what I already knew: my talents are definitely not on the green.
Thankfully, behind the camera felt exactly right. I flew home with an overwhelming number of images — and the quiet certainty that I had witnessed something truly special.
